Here at Best of the West Galveston, we are committed to providing families and groups of friends with the best getaway on the Texas coast.  We are a local company and can therefore provide our guests and property owners with personalized care.  When you call, you get a real person.  If you have an issue, we are committed to resolving it quickly.  We strive for the ultimate in customer service.

I am James Oliver, the owner of Best of the West Galveston, and I grew up on the Gulf Coast.  I have been fishing in the bay and hanging out on these beaches my entire life.  Aside from my ownership of Best of the West Galveston, I am married with three fantastic children.  I am committed to not only providing great customer service, but also great service to everyone who works for or with Best of the West Galveston.  Additionally, we are committed to the ecological preservation of the Gulf Coast.  We work with organizations such as the Coastal Conservation Association Texas and other local environmental groups to help make sure that our coastlines and fisheries are protected.
